I’m off to see The Wizard

Yay! Got tickets to the restored, hi-res version of The Wizard of Oz that’s playing at the New York Film Festival (and elsewhere, but only during the NYFF in NYC).

I’m such a sucker for this movie. I’ve never seen it on a big screen, either. Whee!

Wow, lucky you! That’s my favorite movie of all time, and I wish I could see it too but I’m busy that day. Looking forward to getting this new hi-res version when it comes to DVD and, maybe someday, when I get a hi-res TV.

Ahh! How exciting! I hope it was awesome. I haven’t seen it in a theater in over 10 years and now you’ve got me craving it.
