It was just my mom and me this year for Thanksgiving because my brother was skiing and the rest of the family stayed home, so we did vegetarian. I made mushroom tartlets and mushroom gravy. They were fantastic turkey substitutes — we didn’t miss it one bit. I also made a squash bisque and it was PERFECT for Thanksgiving. Vegetarian or not I recommend that to everyone. We were so fancy with our tartlets and bisque, and her dogs begging for scraps, of course.
