What does it say about me that when I loaded up all my CDs onto iTunes, I noticed that the two artists I had more of than anyone else were Concrete Blonde and Esquivel?

He was the ghost of a Mexican bandleader ladies’ man.
Ha!
And coming in right after them, Tom Lehrer, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana and various people doing Raymond Scott music.
My latest downloads include Sleater Kinney You’re No Rock ‘n’ Roll Fun and the Dropkick Murphys’ cover of Long Way to the Top (theirs is my favorite after the original, it’s a tough song to do).
I haven’t even started downloading stuff yet!
Also, I keep loading up my iPod and forgetting to de-select the Christmas music. So every now and again, something like “We are Santa’s Elves” pops up.
Concrete Blonde was my favorite band all through high school.
Now I’m all about the Decembrists (Colin Meloy let me have your hyper-literate love child!)
Ha, the same thing happens to me with Christmas music, although the other day when Willie Nelson’s Pretty Paper popped up in the shuffle, I didn’t really mind.
