Food blogging: Tuscan Farro with Bean Soup

Recipe here, from Epicurious.  Satisfyingly chewy.  And do you have an immersion blender yet?  For heaven’s sake, why not?  They’re less than 20 bucks and useful as all getout.

    If you like farro, there’s a recipe for farro risotto with asparagus and fava beans at Chowhound here (vegan). I had farro for the first time a few weeks ago at a tapas restaurant and fell in love!
