I happened to be home last summer when they were having their end-of-year ceremony. Seems that the yuppies who've moved into the neighborhood don't like them much and are trying to shut them down (ironically, in part because of the FRIGGIN' PA SYSTEM they have). My biggest issue, really, is the FRIGGIN' PA SYSTEM, since they host block parties quite often during the warm weather. ' Of course, I'm also quite unhappy about the giant smear on my window from the paintball this woman's kids left when they shot my fucking building with paintballs last year. At least they aren't raising pit bulls anymore. That went really well with the daycare kids.
