Why I can’t stretch out on the couch at Kindly Póg Mo Thóin

Is your cat really almost as big as Junebug, or is that a perspective trick? Because, if so, I think she may be related to our big-as-a-horse tuxedo cat. He slept on my legs while I was on the couch the other night and I had to kick him off because he put my foot to sleep.

It’s kind of both — big cat, small dog, and perspective. Sugarplum’s last weight at the vet was 18 pounds, and Junebug’s was 27.

Yep, definitely related to Keaton. He weighed in at 12 pounds last time without an ounce of fat on him, and he wasn’t quite at full growth yet.

It’s especially funny since our new cat is a petite little girl who thrashes him unmercifully. (Well, until she plops herself down on top of him so he can groom her. They’re just too cute for their own good.)
