I’m making this tonight, i think. how much broth do you put in?
I wound up using just water, and pouring enough in to cover the sausage layer. The apples will steam.
I used broth once, and it was too sticky. Water works fine because the sausage and spices make broth.
Wow. This was really really good. I ended up using 1/4 cup broth that I had on hand, and about another 1/4 cup water, and that worked out well. Definitely going to make it again.
