Yeah — I would be happy about this but mostly I’m just upset because every time some crooked bush appointee resigns, it seems there’s an anesthetizing affect on getting the fucking criminal in the oval office who keeps appointing these assholes out of there.
Rumor has it that they are going to ask Chertoff to head the department. Is anyone else troubled by the concept that the former head of Fatherland Security will be offered the job to head the department that is supposed to A) police Fatherland Security and B) oversee it’s intrusions upon American lives? I am. Chertoff is incompetent to boot (Katrina, liquids on airplanes). He is skilled at political theater.
