I thought it was very satisfying. Ended the way I wanted it to, but with enough red herrings that I did get genuinely worried. And one death made me tear up in a major way. My partner began a holiday in Oregon yesterday. She'll be gone for a week and when she returns she'll bring a copy of the book. At which point I'll spend the next several weeks reading it to her at night, complete with my own voices for the characters. Until then, I'm avoiding the spoiler sites.
